LANSING – Mayor Andy Schor has announced endorsements from several union and labor leaders in the Lansing area. The Greater Lansing Building Trades Council is the latest to join Team Schor.
“The members of Building Trades proudly endorse Mayor Andy Schor for re-election to the city’s highest position,” said Chris Keck, local Building Trades president. “Building Trades build our communities and have been proud to work with Mayor Schor for the last four years. We know Mayor Schor is the right person to grow Lansing and ensure work for the building trades that will make this a reality.”
“I am honored to receive this endorsement from the Building Trades Council,” said Mayor Schor. He continued, “Throughout my tenure as Mayor, I have worked consistently with them to ensure that as Lansing develops, our skilled trades workers thrive. The work they do is integral to Lansing’s success and will play an essential role as we move forward in these next four years.”
Mayor Andy Schor has continuously released several key endorsements since announcing his candidacy for reelection in early March, and he’s proud to be adding the Building Trades to that list of endorsers.
